About Tiny Jaunt
Tiny Jaunt was born from a simple frustration: planning a holiday with a baby shouldn't feel like a research project. Every parent deserves to know whether a destination is genuinely family-friendly before they book — not after they've arrived and discovered the nearest pharmacy is an hour away.
What we do
We build personalised destination guides for families travelling with babies and toddlers (under 3). Each destination gets a confidence report — a detailed assessment covering family welcome, healthcare access, climate suitability, activities, and logistics — tailored to your child's age and your travel dates.
How our scores work
Our Family Welcome Scores are built from multiple data sources: we analyse real parent experiences from travel forums, review sites, and community discussions. We extract specific signals — pushchair accessibility, highchair availability, nappy-changing facilities, pharmacy proximity, shallow beach gradients — and score each destination across five dimensions: restaurants, accommodation, transport, activities, and culture.
Scores are numerical (0-100) and transparent. A score of 85 for “restaurants” means the destination has widespread family-welcoming dining. We update scores as new data becomes available.
Our AI travel advisor
The Tiny Jaunt chat advisor uses AI to answer your specific family travel questions. It draws on our destination data, parent experiences, and practical knowledge of travelling with young children. We're transparent about AI usage — the advisor synthesises information from real sources, and we always recommend verifying critical details (healthcare, visa requirements) with official sources before booking.
